I do weight lifting (though not at the moment as this morning went down with bronchitis). I do it 2 or 3 times a week, lifting 4k weights each side. Although I need oxygen for walking or other aerobic activities, I can do the weights with no oxygen at all, in fact sometimes it goes up. Weird, but I enjoy it. Glad it's helping you Brian. :)

Hope you feel better soon O2. You do very well with the weights, I can just manage the 2kgs! I wouldn't call mine weight lifting, just sit in a chair and do it whilst watching TV. One of the reasons I do it is because I want to continue lifting myself in and out of the bath. Lilian xxxxx

I know what you mean, imlist my dad and father in law to smoking. They were of a generation that thought it was cool to smoke.

Stay as well as you can. My husband Pete hasn’t smoked since 1991 and he has COPD, sarcoidosis and heart disease.

Take care xxxx

There are lots of exercises that you can do inside. Have you tried YouTube? I found some excellent exercises on there.

Definitely, excercises helps tremendously - just check with your doctor. If there is pulmonary rehab available, go for it! Yes, Utube has some good breathing excercises. It all helps. Good luck & stay in touch. Cheers.
