I used Champix to help me quit smoking 11 years ago. Nausea and some pretty vivid dreams were 2 of the side effects I experienced. I found that taking my morning pill after I had eaten helped some with the nausea. The night pill I took at bedtime. Sounds like you have the flu? I too smoked for over 30 years and quitting is the best thing I ever did. Keep up the good work and I hope you feel better soon. ☺

I hear ya! I think we all wish we had never smoked, however you are on your way to being an ex-smoker and once your illness is cleared up you will look forward to the freedom not smoking gives you.

I think you have cooked ya tonsils AND that’s where infection is AS soon as I find cure for mine all be sure to share.

But between steriodes antibiotics nystan throat stuff and reflux I don’t think be anytime soon AS am having quite i time too

I gave up after 40 years. I now vape which helped greatly. As for the infection whilst I smoked I got one after another. Now I get the odd one none of which have been that serious. I don't think it needs a genius to work out the advantages of giving up. Give the antibiotics time. However if you are not feeling better in two days contact your GP. You may need another type of Antibiotics.

Hi, sorry you feel so poorly but please, please don't stop the champix I was a very heavy smoker for 44 years but stopped with champix, I think it is a wonderful product. I didn't have any problems using it but did experience the vivid dreams, I also had an elastic band on my wrist and would snap it several times when I had a craving - I carried on with this after I had completed the course of champix. I,m so glad I stopped on so many levels, my breathing is so much better, no standing outside in all weather whenever I go out, breath, hair and clothes smell much nicer ( I know, vanity) haha!

I hope you start to feel better soon and also stick with the champix, you won't regret it I promise.

Hi and welcome ,.....I know it's hard to give up smoking but it's the very best thing you could ever do for yourself. Keep up with the meds and I hope your feeling better soon.

Tramadol make sure you take exactly as prescribed at regular intervals ! if taken hap hazard they will not be as effective, keep hydrated ! try and get the habit of drinking a glass of water (250ml) when taking your tablets
