Works for me - only use it when having exacerbations, the rest of the time the Carbosistiene seems to work well enough

Works for me and drinking water helps bring up the mucus

Yes my flutter device is invaluable, don't need it every day, but it does help to free up the mucus when I'm struggling ,so less strain on the airways.

The flutter works well for me. I use a combination of active cycle breathing and my flutter every day. (Carbocisteine helps I think, and lots of clear fluids. I drink lots of herbal tea.)

When I'm struggling to get the gunk off my chest, I use my flutter, it is good, even if you don't get it off your chest straight away, you will find that you will cough it up later, due to the flutter device loosening it.

I would recommend x

I am copd stage 4. I have a huge massager that I bought many years ago for my back. Was reading an article on cystic fibrosis and how to clear mucas and thought I would give my massager a try on my back, to help loosen mucas. The difference was huge, I coughed a lot up over the next few hours and the difference in my breathing was huge. I now use it every day, 2-3 minutes on each side of my upper back, where the lungs are. If I miss a day I can tell the difference, I also take carbosicteibe, braltus and a steroid inhaler daily.

Thank you having spoken to my doctor recently it is a lot clearer just how bad my lungs are . My left leg is more damaged than the right . And as I have my other condition on top of the bronchiectusis. Makes treatment even more complicated . I have suffered from recurring pulmonary embolisms and so have to take anticoagulants for life.

Exercise is something I do a lot of but when I get flare ups which have become more often it has worried me more . Thanks for the advice on the flutter device I an arranging this in the next few days 😊😊
