Hi For the past 4 months I have had a lump on the back of my foot and it’s only recently started to hurt so I went to the doctors and they said I need an X-ray so I went for an X-ray today and they said the results will be given to my gp because there was no one to view my results today does anybody know how long it usually takes for X-rays to be faxed over to a gp thanks

This is a lung site but l would suggest you phone your doctor tomorrow and ask. The receptionist should be able to help. X
X-rays are normally viewed by a specialist; the results only are then sent to your GP, this is done asap . The actual X-rays are stored at the hospital/facility where they were done.
All normally within a week.
