I met a friend of friend who has COPD and says that his use of CPD Oil (which I can buy from Holland and Barrett) has really cleared his cough and he feels so much better after taking it. My doctor was rude and dismissive [as usual]. Do any of you out there know this product [hemp oil I think] and could give me an opinion. I would be grateful, as I have run out of workable antibiotics, and need help.

I don't want to be a party pooper Brian but if you read the research (you can search the forum for cannabis oil top right) you'll see that it's not CBD oil which works for copd, but THC oil, which is from the psychoactive part of the plant. There have indeed been members who have found this component helpful.

Forgot to say that CBD oil will do other things, like relax you, improve pain levels, so your friend may well feel better. It's always hard to know why improvement happens - it could just be that his cough was getting better anyway. Or it could have been a placebo effect. But whatever the reason it's great he feels better.

I buy hemp oil from Amazon. I have found it helps with my anxiety.
Also really had a very painful infection in my gums and toung e due to the steroids eroding my teeth. Nothing from boots helped, So used the oil and it helped with the pain enough for me finally to be able to eat something. Then helped it to clear up.
Mine was called Hemp relax cbd oil, If this helps.
Ask your doctor for NYSTAN it is great at clearing the mouth of infections and always rinse after using inhalers x

yes it is , have new inhalers to , but not sure they working or am I to impatient ,I know I'm silly but I don't like to say what I take incase someone says that is rubbish ,& then my mind will play tricks & I will worry , copd makes you loss your confidence , to don't you think , well it has mine , hope you will feel a bit better soon , xx
I think there is not enough emphasis put on breathing exercises, nobody seems to do them and I go to re-hab clinic and they haven't mentioned them either but I know when I get short of breath I go to the back door ....purely for the pleasant view and stand and do deep breaths then do a bit of huffing to help the mucus up and always feel much better after ... relying on inhalers isn't always the right thing I don't think, but that is my personal opinion .... moving about is essential to wellbeing too x
Hi Brian , glad its working for your friend xx I am on a couple of forums one of which are mainly Americans and a lot take cob oil , now I am one of the biggest anti drug people alive !!!! I lost my son last year because of drugs , but ,the amount of people with copd and other health problems that say taking cob helps so much , It makes you wonder when your struggling to breathe all the time is it worth trying ???? Drs will give us morphine ,I've stopped taking mine , which is a drug , but not cob ?? Why ??? People get high off morphine !!! Did any of you watch the documentary Gone to pot ??? Sometimes things are soo tempting when you're desperate xxxx

I tried CBD oil.. ( minus the THC ) bought a great quality, vastly expensive and no benefit at all.
What has helped enormously is Aizthromycin and Ambulatory Oxygen 😂😂😂 both prescribed obviously 🙄
