Hi everyone merry Christmas!

I'm one year post op single lung transplant, I'm currently going thru a chest infection for which I'm on extremely strong antibiotics for, I have a salt lamp and use eucalyptus oil and peppermint in it, I don't know if it's supposed to be doing its job or not!! Does anyone have one and if so has it had any benefits so far

Hi & welcome! Based on comments here in the past I purchased a salt lamp which sits, switched on, in the lounge 24/7. Does it have any health benefits? I don't really know but I love the lighting effect and warm glow from it!

(I did try an LED bulb but the colour was awful so we are back to regular pygmy bulbs)

Hope you recover soon

I have two salt lamps. I bought one and was so impressed by the way it helped my breathing that I bought another. I keep one in the bedroom and one in the lounge and keep them on all day. Don’t know how they work but they do! Hope you pick up soon xx

Salt lamps have a negative effect on my breathing but I rub eucalyptus essential oils into the souls of my feet every night which helps me sleep I think. Lemon Grass and Lemon does a similar job. If you are coughing lots during the night try Vic on your feet and then wear a pair of socks which I found really helpful in reducing the cough. When I need I also use all the meds prescribed as usual.

I get great relief from a salt pipe. Been using it for several years. In many eastern European countries they have salt caves for the likes of us, I understand that they do help to relieve symptoms
