Pleurisy not a pulled muscle!!

I spent the last two weeks with pain in my side which worsened with deep breaths and laying down etc, and breathlessness no other symptoms so I assumed it was muscular and didn’t want to waste the Drs time.

Two weeks of hardly any sleep and the pain getting severe I went to the walk in clinic.

Seen by the nurse and them 2 Drs, at first they were concerned it was PE. Turns out the pain wasn’t muscular, i’ve got pleurisy for the second time this year! And on top of that I have man flu!

very sensible in going to your doctor,if you have a genuine illness you are wasting nobody's time and i am glad you have got it diagnosed and treatment can begin.........regards skis and scruffy cat x

I’ve went before when I thought I had a chest infection and because the new Dr didnt hear anything he made me feel like I wasted an appointment.

I’m glad I went though the pain is slowly getting worse. Thanks again x

Oh dear Lealee. Sorry to read about your Man flu. that is hard luck as well as Pleurisy. it is painful & tiring. It seems to take ages to heal, so do things carefully & slowly. Glad you saw the Dr. hope anti.b's soon kick in. take care.

Lol the man flu is more annoying than anything, it makes me cough more which is painful. I’m struggling to get a good night sleep, every time I move the pain wakes me up. I’ve cancelled my plans for the weekend and am going to have a pj weekend 😊
