Just recovering from the worst ever bout of bronchitis , but this time it felt way worse than before. I consulted a physician. The spirometry came up with acute restricted airways. So glad I came across this site , coz I'm still in a bit of a shock.

Thank you so much for all your best wishes. I'm so much better. For about 10 days or so in the " acute " stage of my chest congestion I couldn't lie down and restfully sleep. The moment I would sit up , I would breathe easier , the moment I would like down , I would breathe as if I was trying to blow through crackles somewhere down in my lungs . Now how wierd does that sound , but it was really just that . One night I just sat through and laid my head on the table to sleep . But I'm so glad that stage is gone for now . My doc says to continue with the bronchodilators and breathing exercises . So now , I can lie down and my sleep is much like before , no more using 2 pillows to almost hunch up and sleep. Back to work as well.
