Yes. It can be true. COPD is the collective term for a range of Chronic breathing problems.

Yes, my late husband Bob had COPD comprising chronic bronchitis, emphysema and asthma. He failed to give up smoking which made it all a whole lot worse.

Yes it can be , chronic bronchitis comes under the umbrella term COPD and there is ACOS which is Asthma Chronicles Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Overlap Syndrome which is what I have.

Stage 2 ? Look after yourself with exercise, diet and medication and you can halt the progression of the disease.
