Black Dog

The Black Dog of Depression has hit me for 6 Today. Yesterday. I went to Breatheeasy and. The Church have a xmas fayre all this week But yesterdayit was opened up soley for our members and friends I couldnt go to the excetcise class Because of oxygen thought i would run short as it was even with using concentrator in car for journey there and Back it was 45 minutes away from class we were there for 3plus hours we had a raffle I won some costume jewelrey and we had afternoon tea I had to take half a lorazapam to go But quite enjoyed it bought some stocking fillers .Today Should have Been at the hospice But earlythis morning Ihad awful Bad stomach so obviously couldnt go although frank thought i may Be ok I was waking. Up most of the night today I dropped of for a couple of hours didnt even hear frank come Back from town he didnt want to leave meBut he needs some time to himself .I have also taking lorazapanthis morning But now it has worn off I need doseage upped or I fear I could become a recluse Matron coming tomorrow she couldnt come last week staff shortages .I Have had a phone call from consultants secretary to go to see consultant for a follow up appointment hope He gives me the Azhithromycin he spoke of last time and hope I can leave house without major panic attack Thanks for letting me get things off My chest Think I should make an effortto go Down stairs have Been sat on edge of Bed for 3 hours .

Hope kendra is Doing ok and feeling Better .There is such a lot going on this week Breathe easy yesterday Matron tomorrow no time or approx hope it is afternoon Thursday. I have to go to Hospital to see consultant follow up from 2 weeks ago friday frank goes to carers group 6 week course at hospice they send a sitter for me But way I feel would rather stay in Bed .Also on thursday councillor coming But i may have to cancel Because Hospital appointment at 1pm and I was going to go for chest xray i was told i neededthis week after hospice But with not going to hospice didnt go. Will have to Do it Thursday once again thinking of you and kendras parents love Margaret xxx

Hi Margaret, you're certainly kept busy with all those appointments. Shame about today but it sounds as though you had a really good time yesterday. At the best of times, it takes a lot of energy to go out somewhere two days in a row, so you shouldn't feel bad about not being able to do that. I hope the upcoming appointments will bring some changes in treatment that will help you.

Thanks I hope something positive will happen it is hard going out 2days in a row such a shame Breathe easy and hospice are in succsesion good do. With a day rest inbetween yesterday was a good day shame it was at expense of hospice .
