Yes I understand Lindy, we have bad days and better days I usually say..honestly I just pop in the pills and carry on these days..I have stopped grieving now, it is more like acceptance and making the best of it..but I think we have phases, at first we do grieve when we know we have a disease etc..

When my daughter moved in, I didn’t want to really because I thought I don’t want to be brave I want to be me.

When she said Mum I must come and help, you have a degenerative disease I burst into laughter.. I thought great fun it is going to be then darling. And thanks for the internet spelling things out..

So I tell her: Let’s do one day at a time sweetie, today is a better day..

Yesterday the pain was such that I had to take 2 neurontin for neuropathic pain, 1 Aleve and 1/2n10 mg. Morphine! 2 hrs later the other half! I did sleep well though!. lol

I have lymphangioleiomyomatosis, LAM for short, a degenerative lung disease. And adrenal glands insufficiency..and some rhumatoid problems so I am on steroids..it helps a lot with inflammation.

It’s ok I practise meditation, full body scan, a lot of heat, exercises, massages..helps me a lot. Take good care too xx

Orphan Black really doesn't interest me I just went through 3 seasons of a cop drama from UK. It's called line of duty. It's really good of course I didn't just watched like I didn't have anything else better to do. Like clean or something as equally boring. Alright but then again Donald Trump says there is no such thing as global warming what do you think about him? I am so thankful I don't live in the United States of America! Sorry if you are someone who really likes him. I wish Bernie had gotten in... He was up in Canada and gave a really long talk about how he loves our health care System and would have liked to have seen the same system down there. Anyway are you working tomorrow? If so please be careful driving if it's that bad out there (we think you're getting the Sandy type storm!) Hopefully it has bypassed you! Take care.

Hi Skis😄and Scruffy girl! (Daddy has to give you a more elegant name. I assume you are much more elegant than being a Scruff... ha! Oh well I'm sure your dad knows you best! So my dear friend how are you? Really glad to hear your weather is nice! The end of ours comes tonight. Dang! They just predicted a snowy winter. Not great for your mobile lady as I will be grounded if it snows. I have a lovely neighbour who always pops in and asks me if I need anything from the grocery store. Speaking of groceries, my appitite for food has all but disappeared! Used to love eating... maybe a bit too much! But now I only eat once a day. Well maybe twice a day. Does that happen to you? To add insult to injury I do not like meat at all! Anyways, I ramble... Have a wonderful day Skis!

you are not rambling at all.yes my appetite is rubbish which is about par for the course,but exaggerated in my opinion by eating alone i think,Not much fun and more of a ritual.I am slowly going off meat for some reason and probably only have it once a week.though i never could devour it like some folk.I am afraid it is an el nino year,so warm pacific means loads of precipitation for you folks in BC.it is the sort of weather i would chase for skiing years ago but for you my love it's a real challenge.can i come and bring Scruffy and we will snowplough your paths to clear the way for you then i will take you on a sit ski for wheelchair users and scruffy can pull us both up the hill and we will fly down it and end up in an enjoyable heap at the bottom,then apres ski will be jugs of beer and Poutine(do they do that in Vancouver)next to a log fire in the bar.must stop i am dreaming lol x

Oh Skis that sounds like a load of fun. There is an organization here in Vancouver that organizes for people in chairs to go on hikes and I assume that there's also organizations that would do the ski thing too period when I had my first little child we went tobogganing a lot I am assuming that tobogganing and skiing my style is pretty much the same. Just a load of fun and good laughs. A hot toddy afterwards please that sounds so good. Where cider warm cider yummy. Buy a fire... See you've got me dreaming now.

Lindy there is so much fun you can have in and out of your chair and so many gadgets and adaptions that almost anything is possible,you just need some assistance from good friends and of course the professionals and the world is your oyster oh and a fist full of Canadian dollars does help lol.Me and skis are booked on Air Canada so just dust of your moon boots,wooly hat and mittens my lovely and warm up that cider and a few more logs on the fire to stoke that dream please x

Never mind Skiis you can dream!l As for meat theres just too many antibiotics and growth hormones it's just loaded! Really not good for our bodies!Besides not loving the tastes of it anymore. I did succumb to temptation and induldged in roast chicken from the store yesterday. I will not be doing that again !!!! Wish elegant kitty was there to eat what I threw out!

I have been to Montreal... a long time ago! I will always remember the cobble stones like Europe so gorgeous. Never Cornwal. Is that not in Ontario? I have a friend who lives in Cornwall Ontario. She says its very auaint and so beautiful. I have been waiting for the dr. For an hour 😣😢🤧grrr
