Hi everyone just a short post

Dont you think it would be a good ideal if the gp would mention when we are diagnosed with this copd about this blf health unblocked website because i think it would help many people who dont know anything about it and would help take away the fear

Because chatting to the caring and helpful people on here who give good information and advice has really helped me more on how to look after myself and feel better and to live with this copd

That’s a very good idea music. Our surgery could do with some more BLF leaflets. Is HU mentioned in any of them l wonder? If not, it should be. GP’s could also play their part.

I think that would be a fantastic idea. I only found this site by chance, and I agree our GP should tell us about this site and the support it gives. Love Bernadette 😳 xxx

Fantastic idea when i went on to oxygen first thing i did was google. Frightend myself silly But could not stop looking fortunatley My son. Caught me on it and. Came up with this site. I give google a wide berth now x

Yeah It Became a viscious circle definitley not good for what little Health I have would advice people to stay clear. Of Doctor Doom .

I did mention BLF to my dr and she was very positive about my using the site for information and support. Carry on everyone, we’re doing the right thing!

I mentioned the BLF site to one of our doctors - his face said it all! The last thing they want is the patient having more information than they do - it's a kind of Messiah complex! Forgive me but I am very cynical about GPs in general having learned more from Health Forums than I ever have from them and certainly received far more help and information.

It's a great idea,a warm welcoming forum with experiences of this disease would make such a difference to newbies and oldies,I know it made me human again,not terrified of leaving my family instantly.I think I'll mention it to my nurse and doctor the next time I see them.

Yes that would be a very good idea. My sister found this site for me and it has and still is a great help to me.
