Focus group for people who have been on clinical trials

A company called Longboat want to gather views on the platform that they've designed which aims to make the clinical trial process more patient-friendly.

DETAILS:

•Hilton Paddington London Hotel from 2pm to 4pm on Thursday November 9th 2017 (fully accessible)

•Refreshments and snacks will be provided

•A stipend of £100 will be paid on the day and reasonable travel expenses reimbursed

•Participants need to have participated in a clinical trial before BUT should not currently be active in one

•Focus group purpose:

oListen to patients that have previously taken part in a clinical trial about their experience (how they became involved, how they were informed & supported throughout)

oIdentify what worked well & what didn't or what could have been improved to make the patient's involvement easier

oDiscuss if technology advancements could have helped to support them on their trial journey

oShow the company's patient platform and discuss if it would have been a good tool to have on their trial

Unfortunately the company won't be able to support people coming from abroad or anyone who might need to stay overnight, due to budget. So people need to be within relatively easy reach of London.
