Doctor would not give me any said I have to be accessed still waiting in the mean time I cannot breathe so don't no what to do

Try local pharmacy for saline nasal sprays, explain you position they may be able to help, while you are waiting for assessment. You don’t want to rush in to making what may be the wrong decision. There must be a need for your assessment.

Your doc is right. Anything stronger than .9% can be damaging. Only certain people will benefit from it.

the one I have prescribed is 0.9% and it is beneficial, but please note my GP prescribed it for me.

Yes Anthony. My consultant lets me have as much of that as I want but 3 or 7% is a no no. Very frustrating when I hear of others using it.

I used it @ 7 for about two months, LP but was then told very firmly that it wasn't for me.

Wish I could say the same for mine Everybody acknowledges his brilliance but his more discerning patients ( that would be me myself and I) aren't blind to his moodiness when things aren't going his way and the manic energy which for my comfort is a little too close to hysteria.

Other then that, he's fine. 😷😷😷

yes, very hard mine was the same but saw me two months after I had my dose altered and put it back to what it was as my lungs were clogging up again with the usual gunk. But as I said in a previous post keep the doc in the know.

Are you mixing it with Salbutamol or other meds? I didn’t like it. Gave me a sore throat. You can get it at Boots. Anywhere. But ask for the one for nebuliser. Not the same as the rest I believe.

Any pharmacy will sell saline even have noticed on Ebay but first I would ask your GP if he thinks it will benefit you he will give you a prescription, just think like all other things to treat your condition saline is a medicine and may not be suitable for you.

Hi I have copd.plus ashma I stopped smoking 8weeks ago I went in hospital I have blocked valves in my heart and GWR out breath when I walk about I was in nebulizer for this

Hi, ordinary saline you can probably get from a chemist or Amazon on line. If you want the sabutamol content then this can only be prescribed by your G.P
