Well close to 3 weeks waiting and finally got my decision have been awarded standard daily living allowance and enhanced mobility allowance phew to say I’m relieved is an under statement 😊

i need it i also got a brown envelope,tax man says i owe him £250 so for you good envelope,for me very brown,do enjoy that bubbly though, : )

That is good news Cales hope it helps you enjoy life a little more. I got a brown envelope like skis , but it was good news like you, from April 2017 I don't have to make a tax return as I am not liable in my present circumstances. Have a nice weekend, I'm off to do a Harvest Festival today.

There is a list of benefits you can get but you have to apply for them they don't come automatically. One such benefit is likely a reduction on your rates bill. Seek out work & pensions and ask them or use the award info to make contact.

That’s great news, I’m going to try applying , I work part time but have been off 4 months of this year with chest infections so trying to cope on statutory sick pay isn’t easy !! I also have two slipped discs so my job isn’t doing me any favours , looking for something else as I work with flour and doctor said I need to leave ASAP !! Any little extra money will be a bonus 😜
