Passing through Rhyl reminded me of the happy times we visited when the children were small. Unlike Llandudno it makes you feel young again. I was so pleased to see the big dragon is still looking down on passers by, waiting for someone tasty to eat. My children always looked out for him. He's painted green now, he used to be bright red. Perhaps all dragons go green when they get really old, he must be knocking on a bit now.
I'm on the last lap now and won't be stopping again until I reach home. I enjoy my little trips in the camper, but as they say, there's no place like home.πX
My granddaughters used to look out for the dragon..... the eldest was frightened by it(when she was little)
Stirring up old memories here Don xxx
He (or she, I suppose) is very realistic, but looked much better in red. If they added sound effects I doubt any kid would want to walk past her (or him).
