Test results

Good morning all I recently been given my results via post and it doesn't make sense lol , I'm a none smoker and was on ECMO and had swine flu & double pneumonia my results are FEV1 1.42% L 1.51% FVC 1.54 L 45% ratio 93%. TLCO 44% does anyone know what this means please x

You'll need to be precise with your numbers - those aren't correctly transposed. Can you correct them or post up a scan or pic of the results?

Guessing: If that 93% is Fev1/FVC ratio, you're not obstructed.

Zakalin,nobody on this site is qualified to diagnose your results,you will need to confer with the person who ordered the tests.good luck though and best wishes for the future.........skis

Hi, members can help with explaining terms and understanding numbers but an actual diagnosis needs to be made by a medic with access to your medical history and any xrays, CT scans or other tests that have been done, for consideration alongside your spirometry results. Try not to get anxious because it is rarely as serious as we first think it is. Welcome to the forum.
