Hi, Pamelafrank . Sorry to hear you're not able to sing at the moment. Hopefully once your doctor does get your meds and treatment sorted properly, you will be able to sing again. I run a singing group for people with lung problems, and have taken it out and about to all sorts of people with different conditions including lymphoma and cancer, and they usually benefit from singing, even if they can't sing well. Try to take things one day at a time, do what you can and chase up that doctor, meditate prayers of healing and trust that this too shall pass.
