IV antibiotics

I am in hospital having IV antibiotics for an infection that is resistant to oral ones. I have 2 days to go of a 2 week course. I am on Tobramycin once a day and Ceftazadime 3 times a day. I seem to notice that over the last couple of days my sight is a bit blurry and wondered if anyone else has ever had these drugs and had any problems with them?

Sorry your not well , do hope the antibiotics work.

Don't have any experience of what you've mentioned, but I'm sure someone who does will be along soon .... just wanted to wish you well xx

Have you mentioned your sight to the nurses there? Perhaps it would be best to.

Just seen your sick, maybe home now? Feel better. I am allergic to most antibiotics. Yes some do cause these types of problems. I have not seen many get sight problems in my past job but for sure ear stuff. Please report all new signs or symptoms as you may be having a reaction.

Tobramycin would be my educated guess. I had patients get side effects from both but more with Tobramycin.
