Just getting over an exacerbation. Sitting here on these steroids with the weirdest craziest thoughts. I'm finding myself asking myself why I'm thinking or entertaining all these crazy thought and ideas in my head. Always been kindda kooky but tell me this is temporary.

I am so sorry to have to tell you that all these wild thoughts will not be there to entertain you once you have finished the course of steroids it is only a temporary side effect :)

On a more serious note, I would tell your doctor that you are having these side effects you may need weaning off them slowly.

Sorry to not seem serious but that's how I handle fear and worry. Kind of make a joke of it. Thank you for the advice. Really don't want to sit around thinking how i can make a butterfly fly with wings of fire.

I think I must be on the wrong steroids as all that happens to me is I can't sleep! Entertaining steroids sounds much more exciting! Again on a serious note, I agree with you, it needs checking out x

No offense here, "that's how I handle fear and worry" ......of course I understand, which is why I replied on a humorous note :) no wories.

No worries x

There is a reason they call steroids the 'devils pills'. The effects will wear off so don't worry.

Hello Cherrhea60 . I'd mention it to your doctor. And I've always been a fan of the "kinda kooky". I think we need more of you in the world. Have a lovely weekend. xx 🌿🌸🌿

Hi, not sure what exactly you mean by the "crazy thoughts" - after finishing a double round of steroids, trips to hospital etc over the last few weeks my thoughts seem to have gone into meltdown (don't know if this is what you mean) which I think I mean some sort of depression.

Fighting it off for two weeks now and due to see the GP (this one did seem very good during the exacerbation) about this in a weeks time. If you are talking the same sort of "crazy thoughts" I'd suggest a trip to a decent GP for a conversation.

Good luck
