Hi

Similar to asthma, three inhaler therapy.

One reliever-Ventolin

One long acting-Spiriva

One long acting with steroid-Fostair

Or similar.

Not all inhalers are suitable for COPD, some are more suited for Asthmatics.

It very much depends on you. I only use two inhalers Fostair and Ventolin. Which works fine for me. Others are slightly different it's very much what works for you.

I am stage three copd, I use three inhalers, Spiriva, seretide and ventolin. I also have a rescue pack of steroids and antibiotics.

I'm stage 3 also use Spiriva and ventolin when I need it which isn't often xxx

in reply to

I use my ventolin regularly but I'll be honest, it doesn't seem to do much. I've mentioned it to the chest nurse but she just said keep taking it x

What's your fev Brian .I was using my ventolin regularly and when I was at PR the physio had said the fact I'm using a bronchodilator that should last 24 hours ...she then said the ventolin inhaler wdnt work for me if I used it too much and encouraged me to cut back which iv done and as said I hardly use it now...its weird how this condition affects us but so differently and different advice being given x

No idea, from all the figures she rattled off at me during my review the only thing I remember is 'lungs of a 114 year old' In fact I had no idea I could bring my results away! Stupid but true xx

I edited last question above 😀

Just a silly thought - I wonder how many 114 yr olds they had to test, to get an accurate comparison?

in reply to Magpuss

Maybe they meant 114 one-year olds? I'm not so worried now 😜😂
