Just had a call from my doctor asking me how I was feeling and did I need him to come see me lol to which I asked have you the right person totally lost as to why he's calling. Apparently because I asked for a new script for doxy to put back in my rescue pack via the reception girls and asked them to tell my doc to put on my notes I have a chest infection ...he thought he would call as he was more than surprised I have an infection oh well very socially acceptable and interactive surgery #brilliantservice 😁😁😉😉

I had an interrupted sleep. Kept hearing something howling in the night 😂
Then I had an early call from my eldest to ask if I can have Grandson. It transpires that her nextdoor neighbour decided to have a late night drinking session till 4am, so bother daughter came grandson have not slept but she still has to go to work. So now not only do I have Grandson, but also Grandaughter because her mum has to work today and little one has a virus and won't eat. Nice day ahead for granddad

Already did that. Little one is asleep in her cot and grandson althoigh tired is on his tablet. May have to take it off him and tell him to have a sleep

They are good but I must admit he's my kind of doctor and iv worked with a few in my time .he's on the ball drinks in my local pub and a decent all rounder xxx

West Wales, almost in the Irish Sea so a bit far for a home visit. Have to say though, I do have a very good surgery & GP, no problems getting appointments, so I am one of the lucky ones. Also get to live in Pembrokeshire, lucky on that score as well. xx

My last GP called me quite often, once on Sunday! But he was South African and had started out trying to build up a practice from scratch. He used to get really cross with some of his NHS colleagues, especially if they were rude or uncaring. Wish there were more like him, although my new GP is pretty good.

It's sad that some ppl are rude and that's unacceptable...having worked for the nhs I can only put it down to pressure and having no time to spend with ppl as we used to .the care thing had gone from the job long before I left sad to see ppl giving up xxx
He is just frightened...lol..what you do to him if he did not look after you!

My doctor rings me when I come home from a hospital visit to see if I am okay and if I need anything. If I am worried about anything I can ring the surgery and say I need to speak to the respiratory nurse and she will ring me back the same morning. If I have to visit the surgery,which isn't often, one of the receptionists will book me in even before I get to the entrance which is amazing really as it's a busy practice. If the waiting room is busy I can ask for a side room to sit in so I don't pick up any extra germs. i think they are marvelous. Keep smiling.

The only time mine got in touch was to see why I had had so many blood tests as they stated they would not of ordered that many!
