Brings a tear to the eye - we read about each other but rarely meet like this. Thank you the video is brilliant. Pity as smokers we would have dismissed your story (so similar to mine) on the basis "it won't happen to me".

A warm welcome Grainger! Thank you so very very much for sharing your experience. I was very emotional watching as my beloved Mother endured so much with COPD too. Your resilience is quite extraordinary, and I commend you for it. Perhaps you could do further video updates, as I'm sure it would offer a lot to those who are in the same position. I would certainly tune in. Sending my best from the other side of the pond, I will be thinking of you. ....

Hi. I'm like you end stage copd. I also take 26 tablets a day nebuliser 4 times a day and bipap machine for 18hrs a day. I'm on 4 litres of oxygen and I am still walking around at home. I put all this down to smoking for years but we just didn't know the consequences then. I also have typed diabetes and angina. I put my still being able to get about down to my great medical team who really look after me any problems I just need to ring and someone comes out to me.

Sorry for the long post. Keep fighting and stay strong.

What a lovely treat having the band play for you, I love music too and sing in a choir - if you were closer we could come and sing to you :) Sending you warm wishes from Staffordshire in England. (very rainy at the moment, had summer last week!)
