For what it's worth, I use mega Qunol CoQ10 along with sublingual B12 complex, the usual assortment of vitamins, plenty of garlic and a fair amount of exercise: walking, working around the house and yard and other things simply to keep moving so as to remind my 74 year old muscles what they're there for.

I also have regular pulmonary rehab sessions on the treadmill (30 min) and other equipment. Keep the weight down and keep moving seem to be number one on the list of combatants. If it hurts, do it a little more, is my motto. Seems to work on loosening things up a bit.

This is a strange post and I don't know what to make of it. You can't 'overcome' copd with any treatment but you can the effect on you. Copd isn't curable though hopefully it will be in the future.

copdwneal,

Hello. How are you today? I have included a definition of COPD. Most people don't know what COPD really is. There is no cure for it. I was diagnosed with COPD, emphysema, and bronchitis many years ago. I was a longtime smoker and now have small cell lung cancer.

COPD: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Any disorder that persistently obstructs bronchial airflow. COPD is frequently related to cigarette smoking and mainly involves two related diseases -- chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Both are frequently present and cause chronic obstruction of airflow obstruction of the lungs. The obstruction is generally permanent and progresses (becomes worse) over time.

I believe that vitamins and minerals are good for most people. However, I would contact your doctor who can refer you to a nutritionist for guidance about taking supplements.

Have a lovely day,

Kathie
