new here from south carolina, doing my best to slow down the COPD, thank goodness for rescue inhalers and medicine inhalers, spent my life smoke now worry later, now at 66 years old the worry is here, love to read the positive COPD posts that it's not a death sentence, doing all I can to live as long as possible, dave

Hi Dave, and welcome! My husband is 67 and has emphysema. He's had it for 17 years (probably longer). He eats healthy, stays fit, and just takes one day at a time. You will love this group and learn so much from the wonderful folks here!
