Went for my results from ct scan and breathing restate in Feb

Was told have very mild empasemia and was discharged from.the hospital and told just carry on with the respimat Inailer not sure what all that means , maybe should havecadkef mote questions but at the time so confused with it all

Hi it means exactly what they said. Keep taking your inhaler as prescribed and that you are very mild. If you lead a healthy lifestyle then you can hold your lung function level or only lose a little bit for many years yet.

It also means something else will get you long before the emphysema does. Like old age. Obviously it is a chronic condition and you must take great care of your lungs and get any exacerbations (worsening of your symptoms) dealt with asap.

Apart from that just live your life as normal.
