Booked to go on a cruise next May 2017, unfortunately i can't get insurance. FISH insurance who give a donation to the BLF won't insure me.

Can anyone suggest an understanding insurance company to me?

Your best bet is going through as broker who will compare for you. Try something like healthunlocked.com/api/redi... as a starting point.

As per one of my previous posts I've found insurewith.com beats insurers on any comparison websites

Hi Spookie121 , sorry to hear you weren't able to get a quote from Fish. Insurance is dependent on personal circumstances and unfortunately insurance can’t be provided to everyone due to various reasons. Please do shop around and do let us know how you get on.

Best wishes,

Ben

were you doing this on line, sometimes its better to phone you get the opportunity to explain its only a review and not a consultation. If you are on oxi it will rise massively I have been quoted well over £1500. For two weeks in Spain!

AllClear offer an all inclusive Cruise Insurance very reasonable. Even Saga and stay-sure refused me due to my many health issues but Allclear were fantastic. We used them last year for a Cruise to the Med and 2 years ago for the Caribbean.

Yes tried them, price quoted was £684. Not sure if that's a the price i'm going to pay to go on a cruise. ⚓️

4 years ago Staysure charged us jointly £2230 for a cruise in the Caribbean. If you can get cheaper please let me know. Thank you.

Have now booked with Saga not cheap but the range of cover is extensive and beats other by a mile. Cost a total for myself and wife £1115 for a two week cruise to Madera, Canary islands and Lisbon.

Hi Spookie, if type 'medical travel insurance' in the search box you should find a good few posts appear. If you are going to the USA or Caribbean the cost can be very high but much less for Europe.

Hi, hate to say this and not knowing your medical problems, the insurance industry doesn't really want risks like us. I had similar problem and couldn't find an insurer except for a one off trip abroad and that was extremely expensive and more than the holiday costs.

I was quoted 3000,for a new york cruise,and 650 for a med cruise.

Try looking at Holiday Extras on line. It's the one I've used for last few years to cover my all my medical conditions however it did go up massively this year due to the fact I'd had a short spell on morphine during the last 12 months
