My mouse tends to misbehave in the same way. Maybe there should be training classes. Do you remember Barbara Woodhouse? Perhaps she has a grandchild who specializes in mice?
My mouse behaves badly too sometimes but it's my index finger on my phone that's worrying me. It keeps going onto websites and ordering all sorts of things, l can't just get rid of it either! What to do? Xx😀
I have one of those too, don't know how it happens - it's as if a nervous tic takes over, wouldn't mind if it stuck to things I actually need instead of latching onto things that I only like😧☹️😄😄

My bug is "touch devices" I have great difficulty with touch pads on laptops and touch screens on phones. The skin on my fingers must be too thick from work I think.
Shopping is the one thing that gets me out of the house and with the trolley to lean on I still manage fairly well but my problem is my shadow that puts things in my trolley when I am not looking, it can't keep away from the quick sale and John plays war at too much food. Perhaps if we give your mouse to my shadow and let them get on with it both our problems could be cured. Keep smiling Rosabeth..
