Review and Spirometry Test - Result.

Well I gave it my best pppppppppppppppppuuuuuufffffffffffffff - gasp! But it wasn't good enough for my Respiratory Matron who was expecting an improvement over last months effort. I didn't bother looking at the printout. I have already established that old age will finish me long before COPD gets a chance, so 'no change' is enough for me..

However, Matron sees me as a challenge and my prescription was changed again. The Atrovent is to replaced by Seebri Breezhaler 44microgram inhalation powder capsules with device. The Ventolin is back on having been left off on my last visit and Symbicort 200micrograms continues. So after many years of disinterest in my breathing difficulties, apart from thousands of repeat prescriptions, I'm now getting the full monty. I might yet achieve the lungs of a man younger than 91. :-)

I thought I was going to be the only person on the group whose donor card had a debit balance.

I was gloating after my test, having improved my lung age from 148 down to 147 years. Apparently that wasn't good enough and medication changed again, luckily though, I don't look quite as old as my lung age.

Congratulations! I'm told it's not the figure that matters but whether it moves up, down or stays as it is. You did better than me.
