Co2 monitoring and SICK building Syndrome lung health.

What is SICK building Syndrome ... Well it's Bad air quality in your home cars vans and rooms mainly Co2 and can lead to tiredness, lack of concentration and illness.

That's with out effects of SICK building Syndrome on pre excising lung condition and effects of rush hour traffic.

(Sick Building Syndrome) is due to high CO2 concentration (greater than 1000 ppm)

Needless to say I will be monitoring my homes CO2 concentration at various times of day eve night to see if traffic and main roads contributes to SICK building Syndrome.

Also when am out in motor and sat in traffic BE interesting.

Not the cheapest in the world but I use shop.netatmo.com/gbp_en/net... where the indoor module monitors, amongst other things, air quality. Whilst working in a closed room a couple of days ago it alerted me to the increasing levels of Co2 and encouraged me to open a door & window to freshen the air.

Working at a desk I tend to get so wrapped up in what I'm doing that, until I'm gasping I tend not to realise that something is wrong!

Hi y__not thanks for link DEFO like fire angle one.

Is easy done neglecting air quality espicaly of winter.

This growing campaign for co2 meters to fitted in work cars vans ... But the can't decided if it's co2 or dieasel bits that need monitoring.

Driving a diesel car (as recommended by our government and my bank account) I'll settle for watching the Co2) ;o)

Hi stone, just to say the safe links fire Angel is a carbon monoxide detector, not carbon dioxide. Best check I think I'm right.

I have a monoxide meter near my gas boiler, I am very conscious of the danger as my previous gas fire was fitted incorrectly and I couldn't understand why I had flu symptoms at home but not at work.

Closed rooms or shops have me heading for fresh air ...I guess that's a build up of carbon dioxide.
