Review and Spirometry Test.

Tomorrow I have a review and spirometry test following the change in my inhalers from Seretide 125, Ipratropium and Ventolin to just Ipratropium and Symbicort. I just hope that I’m not asked what effect the change has had on me, because with my failing memory I can’t remember how I felt before, to be honest. I still have to use my steamer every few days or my lungs clog up and have me making terrible disgusting noises trying to cough it up. I think what I do cough up is perhaps not as thick and sticky as it used to be. Perhaps the spirometry will show her all she wants to know.

Unlike my young friends I’m not interested in what stage I’m at or what the various percentages are, because I’m pretty sure old age will get me before COPD. ;-)

(Plus a photo showing that campervan and I wear the same style hats.)

Good luck with the review. I can certainly empathise with the memory problems. Love the hats! :)

La Meditteranee designed by Barry Stimpson and sold by his company rather than through dealers. Only about 25 were made, most went abroad. The design was later used by Romahome for the R30.

Thanks. What I was reading looked like 'Les Miserables'. Which didn't seem likely...

Hope all goes well tomorrow.

Basically it's a Fiat van with some posh bits stuck on it. ;-)

Smashing camper van Don, and that hat is standard issue around these parts 😂.

Good luck with the appointment tomorrow. XXX

Better start huffing and puffing in anticipation.

Same hats hahaha! Pretty cool van Don. Where's Midge?? Hope it goes well tomorrow. :)

Believe it or not, I bought that on my way back from the pub having never seen it before. :-o

Midge was in the house thinking I had finally lost it.

The hat or the campervan?

Is it so obvious?

I do my best to merge in.

in reply to Katinka46

Sorry Kate, I was pulling your leg, as they say. Your messages show that you have merged in very well and I'm looking forward to meeting you. This was my fault for referring to 'my style of hat' when a northerner would never call a cap a hat. ;-)

Been here for thirty three years and still very much a 'oomer in' or even an 'off-coomer'.

in reply to Katinka46

It would be the same if I moved from Lancashire, where I was born and bred, to Yorkshire where you are.

I read this recently about caps. A Lancashire chap was watching a football match with his friend when is started to rain. The Lancashire chap took his hat off and his friend asked him why. He replied, "If tha thinks I'm sittin' in mi 'ouse all neet in a wet cap tha's gitten another think cumin!"

Hi Don, you will be fine. Just wanted to say after years on Symbicort my GP put me on Duo Resp, informing me that Symbicort was no longer available. Its the same drug and no problems at all. I think its about the money.

Good luck.
