I am back at work - in a different room, with older children. It is for a trial period to see

how it works. Things have got off to a good start, quiet time before the children go back to school! Hope all is as well as can be expected. Happy Easter.

Hello hoping2improve . I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. Working with older children is definitely a bit less physically taxing. I really hope things go well. Happy Easter.

Thanks for the update, my wife is a similar situation, but not from Copd. Arthritis and fibromyalgia are the culprits in her case. Best of luck.

I had about 5 years of things being adapted for me at school but eventually with the stress of my illness and the ridiculous unnecessary pressures of the job I decided to retire after 18 years in the same school and after 20 years of teaching. Much less stressed now. Miss the kids and my colleagues but I am now a school governor (different school) so I am still involved in my own way.

I'm glad you are still managing to be involved at a level that suits you
