Shop refused to do mine anymore.
My last one looked like i had stroke AND blue badge people refused my request but i won it on appeal.
Even appeals they have now tightened up.
I cant understand criteria they say its to help with mobility BUT if mobiles they say you don't need one.
Hoping to receive approval this summer. Different set up here in Spain. Have to wait and see. MX
Spain don't like complying with EU rules so stick to your guns and report to EU Commision if the come it.

Your right Jeff, some of these ID photos don't look good, my blue badge one isn't too bad but my passport one makes me look like a ninety year old with out glasses. I am sure no one looks at them anyway just laminate to the document. Like the vest idea the modern casual look.

I used the same pic for last 9 year , I just scan it and up load it to them and the documents they need ,mine run out in a few weeks , so done a new application last week uploaded every thing and payment got a email 20 mins later to say they had everything they need will send new badge 2 weeks before old one run out ,
Hi Did same with me but think council don't know difference in renewing and making new application.
Am sure the do this just to bug us as renewing is not like making new application.
oh our council wont let you renew you have to do a new application
My council sent me letter saying renew on website THEN I had to make new application.
Anyway phoned em and put them strait GIVE THEM ear bashing .. as that's mis description and more council bull.
My Old passport had me with a tash which I shaved off about a year later but when in Spain the guy on the desk called a supervisor over who noticed the missing tash straight away with the multi lingual DOH!

Same with a driver's license, it's to show that this is the worst that you are going to look when you get stopped by the police. They won't even let you smile for the pic.
Also, mirrors in dressing rooms with poor lighting. I guess they figure that when you try something on, this is the worst that you will ever look in it.

Hello JeffAjaxAmith,,,,well at least your picture looks like you,,,I have to have the council staff take the photo as it is one of the new style ones with the hologram on,,and they are now a £10,,I look distorted,,,and not at all like me,,,,ttfn from karen.
My dads using my blue badge to squash is crisp BUT I looked squesed on photo to ..... Last years was better proportion to me.
