Filling up my dosette box

Used to be a joy.

With all the different colours,

The makers did employ.

But suddenly all the pills went white,

Which made it hard to check,

And caps went different colours too.

It's a right pain in the neck.

We need these things to keep us well,

Despite the current farce, (I bet you've already guessed where this is going :-o )

Otherwise we could tell them,

To stick them up their *****.

Hi, cant you get your pharmacist to make your medication up for you , I get mine delivered weekly in a nomad , i can't remember if I went through my gp or the pharmacist as it used to take forever to make up a weekly on myself but I had to as i would forget if I had taken them or not. Lol. Its worth asking save you the hassle.

Wishing you a restful night

Loved it😊 The chemists over here,OZ,put them in what they call a blister pack,so all sorted & no charge! Do have a word with your pharmacist xx

Chemists will do that here too, but I'm an independent old cuss.

We all like being independent. But I would take any help I am offered. My cummunity resp team asked if I wanted a dosset box and I said yes. A find it a lot easier than having to push the tablets out of the blister pack and opening bottles. Especially when I have arthritis in my hands.

I have noticed I am getting different colours than usual and that does'nt help as so used to having same colour pills for many years. I asked why and told they use so many different suppliers now. So I asked if I could have a blister pack and told it took up too much time so still do my own,. Maybe it is down to which chemist you use as I know a lot of people get blister packs.

Sometimes getting too much help can be bad for you. If you *can* do it yourself, it's best to do it yourself. Keeps you going and if you get it wrong, you've no one to blame but yourself. ;)

Totally agree with you ,if we can then we should do it . I can see a time when it will come but not now and I'm a bit like you said I'm an independent sort and as I look at it there are things I can't do like open the bottles the tablets come in and I can't get any lid off anything but I really try hard . I live down a lane and I have been known to pop out of my house and ask a nice person to undo my lids ,if I can remember I get hub before he goes to work ,I leave a little note and the thing I want opened on top .You couldn't make it up but people are always really nice to me and happy to help .xx
