Cerebral electrical impulses via Vagus nerve to Epiglottis get occasionally garbled resulting in aspiration pneumonia of the Extended Spectrum Beta Lacatamase variety belonging to Pneumoniae Klebsiella bacterium family requiring Carbepenum Resistant Enterobactereciae type antibiotic. Hi Hidden predictive text has a lot to answer for.😬

Seriously tough, it is all very technical and way over my head. If you could explain yourself in layman's terms so we could all understand your predicament there are lots of people on here that would be willing to help you.

Regards.

John

PS: It may be me. I had trouble reading your name as well..

Looks like it John ;) xx

I have inability to swallow properly after a severe stroke. I end up inhaling food/drink down my windpipe if I'm not extremely careful and slow. I inhaled food Nov 13th, 2016 and went to ER for choking. Inhaled food caused nasty case of pneumonia. Stroke did damage to nerve that controls swallowing. Also I am mostly on G-tube abdominal feeding now via plastic tube and formula. NPO applies: (nothing by mouth)

That's terrible chicoescuala and bless you for explaining it. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Xxxxx

Thank you all for your very considerate remarks and kind thoughts. Breathing is a very complex process that requires everything to work properly Otherwise complications can quickly set in.
