DIFFERENT INHALER IS SO GOOD

Recently I spoke to Jennifer who had good words to say about the inhaler called "Fostair". I used Symbicort for years and it got to the point where it didn't seem to be having any benefit. Going upstairs always left me with a lengthy pause to recover. So last week at the GP's I managed to get it changed to Fostair. It's been two and a half days now but already I have noticed how much better I feel. I can climb the stairs whilst talking at the same time and don't get out of breath. It seems so long since I could do that. I feel so much better and of course less stressed out as I'm not spending all my time thinking about how to breathe. Watch this space, I'll be chasing the grandchildren round the garden this summer. Best wishes to all and thank you Jennifer.

Good afternoon twopars,

Absolutely delighted that you feel this way. It obviously suits you perfectly. I think your Grandchildren are in for a shock - a very happy one :-)

I bet your over the moon twopars. It shows the right inhaler is out ther for everyone.

I've been on it for nearly 2 yrs and I have no problems with it. I didn't think it was doing anything until I missed it for 2 days. xx

So pleased to hear your good results using Fostair,. Like you I am on Symbicort and have been for almost 7 years.......I feel it may be time for a change either that or a higher dose.

I would say if you have lost faith in your inhaler, feel its not working for you anymore, then try something new. You have nothing to lose and can go back if it doesn't work.

Good luck.

Good to hear that the new inhaler is working. In November, my specialist put me on a new inhaler, Dulera. It has made a world of difference.

Goes to show, that if your current meds aren't working, talk to your doctor about a change.
