Oxygen levels can be in the normal range with oximetre, but last year when I was admitted to hospital it was found from a blood test taken to compare with oxygen level This was then different. I was given oxygen and things improved.
What's this all about.
I'm still struggling again, but this isn't taken in to considersion now?

Yes, you should definitely talk to your doctor about your concerns Jokir. The oximeters we have at home aren't as accurate as blood gas tests are - they can only give an indication. Having said that, it would be worth checking yours against the one your doctor or respiratory nurse use. Though not as a substitute for a proper consultation.
If you were in hospital, then being ill, your O2 sats would of course be likely to be lower. But you say you are still struggling, so please see your doctor or your oxygen nurse.
oximeters can read carbon monoxide (co) as if it were oxygen (o2) you need to have blood gas test to show if this is happening, see doctor and/or respiratory nurse. I understand that cigarette smoking can produce carbon monoxide in haemoglobin
