Have infection need advise please

Good evening hope all are as well as can be need some advice please,started prednisonal and antibiotics (2 week course for the antibiotic) three day's ago I'm using a face mask should I avoid contact with a baby ,sorry for disturbing you all on a Sunday evening keep warm and safe God bless Naresh

As baby's immune systems are still developing and a chest/lung infection in a baby could turn nasty very quickly it's probably best you stay away

Sorry to hear you have a chest Infection we are fast approaching the silly season when that over weight chap in the red suit will be coming also all the bugs. I hope the baby doesn't get it take care 😊

Hello, Naresh. about twice a year I get a bad chest infection and I take Prednisilone (steroids) and Amozicillin (antibiotics). I have never been advised to keep away from other people, I thought it was just a part of my C.O.P.D. I hope the medication works for you.

Thank you Sapper21,was advised to wear a mask when visiting Dr or any other public place,don't have any visitors who may have any infection that could make me ill.I wasn't aware of situation re:near a baby,good advice from our family members on here as usual,meds work fine thank you stay well and warm God bless naresh62

My husband seems better when taking Prednisilone but he has put on a lot of weight which is not helping him generally. He seems to be almost admitted to the drug. Does anyone know of an alternative drug to help him?

I meant to say 'addicted' to the drug! Computer problem !!
