New to this web site

Hi everyone , its nice that i've found a web site where i can talk to people who have my condition copd or similar , sometimes it feels as though i'm on my own as friends and family don't really understand what it's like not being able to breathe properly

It is very difficult for someone without COPD to understand how we are effected that's why this site is so good you can learn lots but most of all we can all have a good laugh

Hi I jasmine I am new to this site l suffer from anxiety attacks I am not on Medstead for it my doc wanted to put me on antidepressant but I refused because they are addictive as I I am on a addictive medication already

Hello dajomar and welcome. You are so right when you say COPD and similar illnesses are difficult for others to understand. It's not until you join a site like this that you realise just how many people there are in similar positions. True, it also can be lonely so I'm sure you will enjoy "meeting" others on here. They sure must not or they would have more compassion and understanding and would try to give up smoking when you tell them how bad COPD REALLY is!!

Thanks to everyone for such a warm welcome , i don't suppose i'll be posting much as nothing much happens in my life , oh but having said that i play darts for a local pub & i play in 2 teams for the pub & at the end of the season we were league winners for one team & the other team i play for we were runners up so apart from the big cups for the pub we all got small trophies chuffed to bits i am & now the new season has started , love my darts .
