I am trying to remember what was on the radio in the 1970 s .....Waggoners Walk in 1973, a daily soap opera. Plenty of pop music I guess as it was post Pirate Radio......the BBC used to play live versions of popular records before. Woman's Hour and the Archers.

You would have spent more time watching the TV than us older folk.....Sesame Street, Playschool, and Rainbow.....and as my eldest daughter , born in 1972, used to say...Skippy the Kangaroo Bush.
