Thankyou to everyone of my lady friends for your advise and support over the last few months ,,,,I have been to see the consultant today ,,,and after a sleepless night ,it's good news ,,,,,NO OPERATION NEEDED,,,, I'm one happy lady ,so I'll be back at the gym on Thursday getting my health and fitness back ,,,,,oh ,,,,flu jab tomorrow,,,then shingles jab next week ,,,,then lung consultant at end of the month ,,,,better get fit before I see him, ,,,once again ,,,a huge Thankyou my friends ,,,,think this calls for a new handbag ,,,,😘😘💐🍾

Just be careful with germs, use a hand sanitiser, also if you don't already, First Defence is very good, squirt up the nose.

First Defence is sold at Boots - you squirt it up your nostrils and it's meant to stop bugs from getting a hold. Some doctors recommend it. I used it all last winter and didn't get one infection which was amazing as Id had a string of them the previous year culminating with double pneumonia.

When I come home I always wash my hands then put tea tree oil on them as a barrier to things I've brought into the house like shopping which might have germs on. You need to be a bit OCD to protect yourself imo

Re the First Defence, I don't think you can take it if you have raised blood pressure, but my partner takes another kind which does the same job, can't remember the name but a pharmacist would know

Hi o2trees i asked my chemist about first defence as I have HP. And take medication for it. She said it was ok for me to use as it was just herbal but not to buy one with a decongestant in it.

I will second that nanny. Glad to be of help. I also use sterimar nasal hygiene recommended by my pharmacist. It is 100% sea water nasal spray. Good for people who cant take things with decongestants in them. Take care xx

That's great news, good on you straight back to it as you mentioned the gym. Have to ask you mentioned shingles injection I have heard off shingles injections I had shingles about 2 years ago now and fingers crossed never again will they still give a shingles injection even if you have had shingles already I had it on the right side of my face and in my eye was lucky not to lose any eyesight I was told. Face looked a mess as if I had done a few rounds with Mike Tyson still feel the effects of it now and then get an itchy eye and forehead goes numb. Enjoy your No Opp needed celebrations take care. 😊

Hi ,Thankyou so much ,I've been today ( gym ) 1 Klm on treadmill and 1 Klm on the bike ,,,then 10 minutes on the hand bike ,,,that was enough today ,,,,slowly slowly build it up ,

Shingles,! first let me say I don't know if you can have it or not after you've had shingles ,the first I knew about the vaccine was when my hubby had his vacation that was when he was 70 ,,,,so I had a letter to have my flu jab yesterday and shingles jab next week ,,,,,not to have them together ,so I think it's just when your 70 ,and it's a one of ,but it might be worth asking your GP . I

I know a few people who have had shingles and they said the pain was terrible and that your never really free from it ,I hope this is not the case for you ,it must have been awful for you and to be told you could lose your eyesight to ,,,,that's a dreadful experience,I hope you can get a full recovery ,and possibly the vaccination to ,take care ,xx💐👜
