Hi Jo

Thank you for your warm welcome. No, I'm not in some distant land (although a week away would be nice sometime soon!), I'm Yorkshire, born and bred and left my somewhat stressful job with the Local Authority 12 years ago. We bought a newsagents thinking it would be an easier option........wrong! Working 7 days a week, so really look forward to holidays these days, need the rest! 😂

Hi pam welcome to the group. I am a Yorkshire lass. I was born in Leeds. But had to move to Scotland when I was 10 years old. Lived in Edinburgh most of my life. But still have the Yorkshire twang. Take care x

Hi, and thank you. What a lovely place to live. We try to get up to Inverness for a few days at least once a year. The Yorkshire twang isn't easy to lose (not that I've ever tried 😄). There seems to be some lovely people in the group and I'm already getting the benefit of great advice. Take care. X

Hi eastridingbigden. Thank you for your warm welcome. I love the East Riding and spent many happy childhood holidays in good old Brid. I'm lucky to manage the odd day these days but should really try to do it more often as the dogs love it, and it's not a million miles from Doncaster! I'm so pleased that I joined the group. Getting some great tips.
