Hi Guys, Hope you all are well or as can be, The problem I have is with my waistline I go to the Gym for 3 Easylife classess in 3 different areas and go to m own Gym 5 times a week plus my 5k walks 4 times a week everyone thinks i am training for Beijing, I am still on 25mgs steroids daily no more exceptions which is acceptable by the transplant team in Newcastle all this is for to strengnth the top half off my body as it will take a bit off a beating when I get the operation, I am open to discusions the dieteticians are so similar to what I am doing A low carb diet. Wow Matt you are certainly keeping fit which is great but it's not easy to lose weight on 25mg if steroids. Pete is on 5mg now and hopeless!

I hope that you do well with your waistline and everything else too. Love to you and Fran. Xxxxx

The first question is how long were you on the active list and what oxygen were you on, I was hit with Rheumatoid Arthritis in the lungs in 2013 which took away half my lung space and more I had two visits to the big man upstairs within two weeks bad Infections in fact i hour from meeting him, I was sent home to die as one dip in my lungs was goodnight Vienna. But after watching my family going through this twice i made the decision I would make it to the transplant level after being told this would never happen, I have proved everyone wrong I even got back to work even after I was retired.I have to say goodnight as my hands are so sore with my RA i will carry on with my story tomorrow. Again thanks for your reply, Everyone thinks I'm training for the next Olympics and it feels like it, My transplant team said the average calls to you before it happens it 4 times the record is 18 my hat off to that person, I have spoken to 2/3 locals who have also had the op but their stories sorry events were so far apart I need maybe you and one other, All it's in my mind is waking up and seeing my wife Fran and my Son Mark and start a new part of my life. In fact my previous would be a best seller Now that's a thought, Talk to you later away to the Gym then my 5K walk.Matt
