I I had vats procedure done with talc on both lungs. I was in hospital for twelve days, two of which where in Icu . My chest is still really crackly and I keep coughing up phlegm. I'm guessing this is normal but I start to panic when I can't get my breath and then it makes breathing worse. Has anyone else been through this? Should I ask for oxygen to bring home or should I be in hospital for longer. Stats aren't great.
