Oxy user looking for makeup base

I have just had a delivery of oxygen and read about the oil based products that should not be used. I use a Boots oil as a base for my foundation on my face every day, if this is a no no, can anyone suggest an alternative without an oil base?

I use what I've always used. My nurse said to just be careful, leave it a bit before putting your cannula back on to be honest I don't even think about now.

Thanks for your reply, I suppose they have to inform us of any dangers there may be.

Yeah they do, after a while you forget and it just becomes part of your life.

Hi

Oil based products can damage the equipment and increase the risk of fire. Speak to your pharmacy for non oil based products.

Would you take you time but risk crossing a major road, or walk 5 metres to a pelican crossing.

There are some good, water-based products so why take any risks? Have a look around and maybe a new you will be found? :)

Thanks for the reply, I am off to Waitrose this afternoon so I will look for it.

I like kiehls moisturisers, nice and light. Do you have very dry skin? Oil under foundation would usually cause it to slide off. Alternatively you could try a primer under your foundation

Don't know about the face but with oxygen nose can get sore and l was recommended k y gel it works for me l think you have just to be careful around the nose area with cream so maybe you could use it on cheeks etc

Thanks for the info.

Talk to your pharmacist you will get the best and correct advice, never never put oil base creams when on oxygen, a no makeup face is better than a BURNT ONE.
