Needed a Laugh Today

I wasn't feeling so great last night and fell asleep on the couch. Although I never got physically sick, I had a pan nearby. Well by early morning I woke up with my little girl nearby.

Hi Peteybob, I hope you are feeling better soon. I am not having a very good night as the pain woke me up about 3:30am and I couldn't get back to sleep. I am now wide awake 😳 and having a lovely mug of hot milk (don't tell the cat though) and now feel a bit better. It is getting quite light outside so I may have a potter around the garden. It always feels so fresh after rain and I like to see what is bursting into growth.

Thank goodness for this community. I feel as if I have a friend up with me.

It's a lovely morning so far, South westerly breeze, birds singing their little hearts out, and isn't the air fresh at this time of the morning. I hope your pain is diminishing as the morning goes on, and that you can get a little nap later

Morning Jennifer, Thanks for your kind words, I am a lot better than I was earlier.

I have been for a walk. It took me about an hour to do a mile (with the help of oxygen) but I really enjoyed it. As you say, nice and fresh, birds singing and I like to see what is starting to grow in other people's gardens. Only saw one dog walker and a couple of cars.

If the weather stays fine I'll have a go at doing some of my hanging baskets later on.

Just done my wife a cup of tea but she has got up before I took it in.

Will do John and thankyou. You did great on your walk, and I am glad you feel good after it. Best time of the day. Merlin is waiting with his lead now I've showered. We do about a mile in the morning now, very slowly....we are two old codgers, but at least I don't have to stop and sniff everything that is above two inches high.... was doing some baskets the other day and realised that the compost I was using should have been dampened down before I started..but only after I began coughing.

Ah......beautiful....she is certainly keeping an eye on you. Hoping you feel much brighter this morning, it's horrible to feel sick and not know if it is going to happen or not.

Thank you for your kind words and well wishes. I’m doing better today and will try doing some light work around my apartment. Lilith is a great friend and she always stays close keeping watch over me!
