Singing Group for folk with lung issues in Gloucester

I have been contacted by the Respiratory team to let me know that there is a new singing group to help us starting in Gloucester.  

If you would like to share the information of even come and singalong ? It would be lovely to meet you.

The flyer says:

• Do you have a diagnosed lung condition? Would you like to learn how to improve breath control, build your confidence, have fun and meet new people?

• All levels of ability are welcome and no previous experience of singing is required.

• You don’t even have to think that you can sing!

 

Where: Abbey Dale Community Centre, Glevum Way, Gloucester. GL4 4BL

When: Weekly on Thursdays from 10 am-11.30 am. Starting on May 12th 2016

Cost: FREE (funded by British Lung Foundation and CCG NHS Group)

Aaaah thank you and yes believ a good time will be had by all! Singing is so uplifting, physically and psychologically eh? I love singing at the local ukulele club....... Will let you know how it all goes!

Is this far from lydney , I have ILD and will be moving to this area in July 2016?

Ok there is a singing group, as far as I know, in Blakeney, which isn't far from Lydney. The person to get in touch with is Elyn. You will find her at the Breathe Easy group in the Forest of Dean, Coleford.

The group I was posting about is actually in Gloucester, abt 25 miles from Lydney.
