Essential oils

Hi everyone...just wondering if any of you have used 'essential oils'?  I bought a small diffuser and am thinking of adding a couple of drops of the "breathe" essential oils.

Because of the strong scent, I wonder if it would cause more harm than good?

Just take care with it Mooskie. I have a lovely catalytic lamp but Pete hates the smell of the oil so I will have to buy one that is completely neutral. It is meant to get rid of bugs and clean the air. There is even an oil for colds and flu. No good if you cannot tolerate the smell though.

Take care.xxxx

Haha! You were watching me!! Today my wife dragged me round a shopping hell (sorry mall/centre/thingy). "Oh look, I need some new oils for my .... [muttered on as she disappeared into the shop]"

"Smell this one", I was ordered. "Smells like toilet chemicals" I replied, and this was followed by the whole range until she hit on THE ONE, one sniff and I was heading for the door gasping for breath, leaning on the door jamb, panting and sweating, head spinning she came to my rescue with "Oh, I guess you don't want that one then?"

I headed for the café and recovery time! On the positive, it's a great way to end a shopping hell, after a slow latte it was back to the car!

Essential oils? Whoever came up with the "essential" bit? For me it's essential that she leaves them in the shop rather than torture me while finding out which ones are fine ... and which are potentially terminal!

I am happy to open a window to improve the smell in the room!

Stay happy!

Yes I too, however, some people claim these oils help,  I think I will assume they are not good for me.

I also can't handle any of the hair stuff, cleaning products, etc.  These essential oils are made form plants, herbs, all natural and I am to out, just 2 drops in the diffuser which releases cool mist.
