Feeling blah.

Hello on this bright and sunny Sunday.

Have not been feeling "right" for a week now and yesterday realised I have managed to catch a bit of a cold. Sneezing and dry cough resulting in a sore throat. Upped my ventolin even though my peak flow was good (better than it has been for a while actually) gargling with soluble paracetamol has calmed my throat but still losing my voice now and again. Used a steam inhaler with first a drop of cinnamon oil in the water and then a drop of oregano oil - that clears the tubes. Always used menthol crystals before but oregano oil is far more potent. Then did my breathing cycle to get rid of mucus and found hardly any mucky colour - so different from just a few months ago when it was constantly dark greeny brown and thick. So I am still hoping to avoid starting my emergency antibiotics. Had hoped I was going to get through this whole winter without any - haven't had any since last August - which is a record. Think the aspergillosis and aspergillus nodule was my main problem and that seems to be well medicated with the Itraconazole tablets and last visit to the aspergillosis clinic I was finally given my HIB injection and think that has had a huge effect. I was stunned by my peak flow back at 340 yesterday as it has been wallowing at around 300 all of last year and I haven't checked it for a long while as it was disappointing to me. If I am feeling well enough after dosing myself up yesterday and today am going to the gym tomorrow. Got to get in shape for my niece's wedding on Easter Monday. Haven't dared try on my outfit as sure it will be a little tight. Don't feel like dieting as want to eat - think that is the cold both sneezy cold and weather. Think I am going to have a bath now and get changed back into my PJs and watch a recording of "Vera"

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.

Love and hugs

Sian

Awww Sian so sorry to hear your feeling poorly. I don't know about peaks and flows etc as I'm new to this, it's just mumbo jumbo to me at the moment..so I can't really comment medically..but it sounds like you've been doing really well up until now. So I'll send you some lovely flowers 💐 🌸 🌻 🌿 🌷🌹 along with lots of oooooo hugs and xx xx instead..enjoy your bath and vera put your feet up and just chill..
