Inhaler cases for demonstration

Hello,

I’m currently in the process of designing a number of first aid courses and need to include treatment of asthma. I wondered if anyone could advise me on where I might be able to source some empty inhaler cases and spacers for demonstration purposes.

Much appreciated

Adam

You can buy spacers at pharmacies, about £8. You could also ask them where GPs source the empty inhalers they use in demonstrations.

Hi Adam

Darn mine have just gone out in the recycling. How soon do you need them? And what sort of inhaler are you looking for.

At my local pharmacy you can take used inhalers (maybe there is a special recycling service or it just goes to plastic recycling) so it might be worth you asking if your local pharmacy does the same and ask if you can have some. Ours is a Numark pharmacy.

Try a local nursing home they may be able to help

Our Breathe Easy group give our used ones to our local pharmacy. You could ask a pharmacy or perhaps respiratory nurses from your local hospital

Thank you all for your responses, I really appreciate it. Socrackers - I'm after a range of different ones - e.g. blue ventolin evohaler, pink serrated evohaler, purple round serrated accuhaler. Running a course early Feb, so trying to get them for then.
